* homework will be due one week from assignment, unless otherwise noted. Numbers such as 4.6 indicate chapter 4 problem 6, etc.
** Each group will make one comprehensive oral presentation in class during the period 11/7 to 12/7. Exact days will be assigned after groups have formed. A written report will not be required for the week your team presents. A posted progress report must be posted for the other three weeks. See http://vubme.vuse.vanderbilt.edu/King/Grading_273.htm for details on the content of the oral reports.
Homework grades will decrease by one point (10 pt scale) for every day the assignment has not been turned in after the due date. Homework that is turned in after the class following its due date will receive a grade of zero. Late homework will not be accepted for full credit without a legitimate health or interview excuse. Advice: there is a very high correlation between low exam grades and lack of homework turned in. Homework is to be placed in the digital drop box for this course, and needs to be labeled vunetid_HWx_F06.
# Each web site should have a web page for display and comment on web links of value to your project area. This will help facilitate next year's project teams if they continue your design project. It will also assist anyone interested in further research re your area of design. See archives for examples, see the 273 web site for specifics.
