Research Interest:
Development of optical spectroscopy for diagnosis of disease and guidance of surgery.

Current research projects include:(link to Biophotonics Lab*)

  • Developing endoscopic Raman fiber optic probe for early screening of colorectal cancer.
  • Identifying the HER2 status of breast cancer using Raman spectroscopy
  • Characterization of bone matrix properties at breast and prostate cancer bone metastasis.
