Description of Research Program:

Dr. Galloway serves as Director of the Center for Technology-Guided Therapy (www.tgt.vanderbilt.edu*).  In that capacity he works with a team of people who develop techniques for improved imaging methods (tomographic, ultrasound and endoscopic), three dimensional localization and guidance and the intra-operative display of data.

Current Projects Include:

  1. Image-guided intracranial neurosurgery,
  2. Image-guided hepatic surgery
  3. Image-guided spine surgery
  4. The incorporation of intra-operative imaging (ultrasound and endoscopy) with image-guided procedures.
