Undergraduate Program

The Biomedical Engineering Program is designed to prepare students for a wide choice of careers by providing a background in engineering, the humanities, and the physical and life sciences. The undergraduate curriculum serves as a pre-medical program, preparation for advanced study in biomedical engineering and biomedical sciences, or preparation for a career in the practice of biomedical engineering. Students learn to apply engineering concepts to scientific and practical problems in biology, medicine, and health care. The graduate program prepares students for research and advanced practice in biomedical engineering.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering offers courses of study leading to the B.E., M.E., M.S., and Ph.D. Degrees.
