Opportunities at Vanderbilt

VUMC/Meharry-Nashville General Hospital-Doctor Shadowing
Location: Nashville, TN
The Vanderbilt-Meharry Alliance has agreed to work with the BME Department to facilitate doctor shadowing opportunities at VUMC and Meharry/Nashville General Hospital.  They are very interested in giving premeds. The opportunity to experience the different aspects of medicine, including surgery.  This is an incredible opportunity and I would like to encourage any premed. to take advantage of their offer.  Not all the details have been worked out, but I am sure that shadowing could be arranged not only during the summer but also during the school year.  If you are interested, please email me with your resume and the medical department(s) you are interested.  If you do not have a resume, please come see me and I will help you get started.

VUMC/Meharry-Nashville General Hospital-Job Shadowing

The Vanderbilt-Meharry Alliance has agreed to work with the BME Department to facilitate job shadowing opportunities in clinical engineering at VUMC, Meharry/Nashville General Hospital and associated clinics and specialty clinics (examples: radiology, biomedical electronics, imaging, etc.) They are very interested in giving BME students the opportunity to experience the different aspects of clinical engineering, medical devices, imaging, etc.  This is an incredible opportunity and I would like to encourage ya'll to take advantage of their offer.  Not all the details have been worked out, but I am sure that shadowing could be arranged not only during the summer but also during the school year.  If you are interested, please email me with your resume and the clinics/specialty clinics/department(s) you are interested.  If you do not have a resume, please come see me [Susan Perlman] and I will help you get started.
